Rigging A NECESSARY FORCE Let’s first start with explaining what “Rigging” is. The term has a nautical background and refers to the ropes and buckles used in sailing. It is both a noun as a verb. In the event sector the equipment as ropes, turn-buckles, shackles, soft-steels; hoists; lifts; trusses;… are the rigging equipment. With this a rigger can rig a complete grid or stage. Every material has his tolerance and it is very important not to exceed those. I followed several trainings in structures, staging and hoist equipment. With this knowledge in security and safety I always approach a pre-calculation of the system with caution, the rock & roll rigging is from the passed. Not only the way the structure fits together but also the way it should be build is important. The health ans safety of the freelancers who help getting it up is equal to the quality of the materials. All used material is of the best quality and are from well known and rewarded brands. Big or small, it is always important to have a secure feeling and that you do not need to worry about strength and stability of a grid or stage. If needed a structural report can be provided for all structures and all used material have their own certifications. That’s how I claim the superior quality of the grids I provide.
